I officially am not internet-less anymore! My uncle got internet for my room plus cable with tivo! So, no more going to the library with their so not cool internet usage time limits, lol. So, here’s the new layout (refresh!). Everyone really liked the style of the last one so, I kind of stuck to it. I actually had another one planned, but then I made this one 2 days later and liked it better. Too bad November is about to end soon though, I wanted this layout up for the entire month of November,, but oh well.

I’ve been sad the past couple of days because it seems like people all around me that I knew personally are dying and just bad things are happening to my closet friends. The pastor at my old church died due to obesity like a few days ago and yesterday a girl I knew at my old school died in a car accident. I was really down for a while, but I had fun today, my cousins came over and we had a blast so it cheered me up. It seems like when people I know die, even if I didn’t know them on a personal level, I can’t stop thinking about them, I keep thinking about the times I ever talked to them and just how they were. Both were shocking because it was just so sudden.

Anyways, I’m going to try to get snapbeat.org back up by this week! I hope everyone’s week is going well!

Have you ever only gotten like 2 hours of sleep at night but felt fully rested the next day? That’s how I feel right now, lol. Last night we went to my cousin’s house to eat dinnner and then my cousin Ariana and I went to Starbucks because I needed her laptop to do my homework and I ordered a tall vanilla latte, which is my favorite. I got home like 1 am and I was wide awake, so I decided to watch Saw and Saw 3 because I’ve only seen the fifth one. I watched them back to back, and after I felt so emotionally disturbed. I love the m movies, but I would not watch them back to back anymore, it’s not even that they’re scary, it’s just the intesity of them and I love the storyline and the plots. They seem to get more and more interesting. I can’t wait until the 6^th one comes out! , I think I’ve become like a fan, I guess, lol. If the movies were just straight up killing for no reason like Freddy Crooger and Jason, then I probably wouldn’t even watch them. I like that there’s actually a reason behind what’s happening. So, I would recommend Saw 5 if you like the movies.

I am pumped up for this Saturday, my uncle confirmed we’re definately getting the internet , though I’m impatiently waiting because for dayyys I’ve been wanting to put up the new layout I made, but I guess I’ve successfully reach my goal of wanting to keep a layout up for more than a week, so that’s good.

Hey everyone, how’s your week??
I had so much fun at school yesterday. After my math mid-term my friend and I were walking down the hall and saw some advertising students doing an advertising shoot for Smart Water, so I was like “Can I be in the movie!?” because I thought they were shooting a movie, lol. I didn’t actually think they’d say yes, but they let me be the model to advertise it. It was a lot of work because they had to do so many shots (169 to be exact) of me to to get the perfect one and I had to do one shot with me actually pouring the water in my mouth and it was funny because my mouth got so full of water and I almost spit it everywhere and they were all laughing at me because they got the shot when my mouth was too full, lol. The director of the shoot invited my friend and I to go out to Olive Garden since we helped him out.

The funny part is, I met the director of the shoot on my first day at art school and I guess I kind of liked him and yesterday I found out he’s wayy older than me with a wife, a kid, and one on the way. I was shocked, I thought he was my age!! lol Not that I was that interested because I love who I’m with, but just the fact he looks so young and the way he acts, you’d never guess he was that old.

Oh and about snapbeat.org, I’ve contacted my host about it, looks like I’m either going to have to upgrade my account which is more money or either move to a new host and it’s weird because I haven’t even used all of the space they gave me. So, I think I’m going to have to just turn it into small hosting site now as I don’t really have so much time online now anyway, but there’s really nothing I can do about it right now I don’t have internet, the site will be back though, I’ll e-mail all hostees about what I’m going to do. I know the reason why the site is suspended, it is due to one person’s site, so I’m working on getting snapbeat back up! By the way, I found out that snapbeat was featured at Roo Designs. Wow, perfect timing! lol Anyways, I thought it was cool.

I think this will be my last blog until I get the internet, which should be this weekend. I took everyone’s advice in the survey on my previous blog. I made a new layout which is fall-ish yet it’s the still sort of the same style as this one but different, since everyone likes this style so much. I so wanted to put it up when I made it, but nooo internet, boo. So, the next time I blog the new layout will be up, hopefully that’s not too long.

Not too much in my life is really going on. We got progress reports today. I have a 96% (A) in IMD (interactive media design). I’m actually in the class right now, we’re learning how to install Wordpress blogs and setup databases, so hard (sarcasm), lol. The girl sitting next to me talks so much! And she’s like what are you doing?? (lol)—random!

I’m going to try to answer the piling up advice letters soon to, sorry it’s taken so long, I am pretty busy with school projects as well, one in which is due tomorrow and I’m just halfway done.

It seems like lately I’ve been eating more and more. I can eat about 5 times more than I could about 3 weeks ago. It used to be I couldn’t eat a whole burger, but now I can eat that and THEN some or instead of eating 3 or 4 chicken wings I can eat about 8 or 9 in one setting. For 3 weeks I’ve been eating big meals constantly and you would think I’ve gained 30 pounds at least as much as I eat, but no. I went to the fair Sunday with my cousins and ate 2 funnel cakes, fried cheesecake, and a turkey leg and I was still hungry! I’m like WTF, I just ate! (lol)

I went to the doctor yesterday and I’m 101 pounds and I’m perfectly healthy. I really want to gain weight. I eat like a person at least 5 times bigger than me and never gain anything. I tried weight gain medicine, doesn’t work. Tried exercising but all it does is make me lose! (lol) No, I’m not saying I want to be big, but I want to be the size I’m supposed to be, my cousin, who’s also a pediatrician said I’m under weight for my age.

I thought I had some strange, never before seen eating disorder, the way I’ve been so hungry lately after big meals, but I just realized I have a metabolism faster than the speed of light.

I’ve been wanting to blog and update but I haven’t been able to because the library in my city is always so crowded , they only give you 30 minutes, and all I really have time to do is my homework and on top of that the computers are sometimes slow. My uncle said we may be getting internet next week, if not the week after that. On a lighter note, here’s a gift to everyone! It’s kind of late, lol, but yeah Happy Fall!

One day my friend Jessica and I were instant messaging and we started talking about internet space. Like why do you have to pay for space on the internet? (curious!) Like hosting sites that are not free only give you a certain amount of space for a certain amount of money. Why is there a limit to the amount of space you can have on the internet? I mean, isn’t there like an unlimited amount of space on the internet or could the internet actually run out of space? Where does this space come from anyway? Does one person own all this space and distributing it? Is there a huge control building that holds all the internet space? Is it possible to use up all the space on the internet? If that happens, then what? Ok, I think I’m done. I just wonder this sometimes to. If anyone has an answer that would be cool or I’ll probably end up asking my IMD teacher.

Well, as for me…
School: Going great so far. I’ve been getting really good grades. I took a test in math on Monday. I don’t know the results, but it was easy, only 8 questions. Then, in IMD, I got 18/20 on my first blog assignment. Feel free to comment there if you wish, it’s still a public blog though it’s for school.

The Site: I don’t know what my uncle’s deal is about the getting the internet, I have no idea when we’re getting it, it’s starting to piss me off , but for now, I have to work with what I have. Basically, I’m going to create stuff on my computer, save it to my handy dandy jump drive and then upload files at school or at the library and just update like that for now. Pretty cool, huh? It’s a huge inconvenience, but I want to update my site, plus nobody wants to keep reading blogs about my sucky internet situation, right? lol

I’ve put up a new layout! (refresh) Similar to one of my previous ones, but I like it.

So, I’m home this weekend, which is why I got to work on my site some, I’m trying to squeeze in as much time for my site as possible while I’m here in internet land, being that I’ll be pretty busy while I’m here. My uncle is saying it may be another month before he gets internet at his house, crap! That sucks, I’m tired of the library!

Anyways, yesterday I got a haircut. It’s shoulder length now, before it was down by back, but I just wanted something new!! I was tired of just flat ironing my hair, it was always flat with just no style at all. So now it’s in layers and it’s actually a style!

I’m going shopping with my mom this weekend today and hopefully to the fair with Nico, then it’s back with my uncle, the very next morning, early! I don’t see it possible that I’ll get any sleep this entire weekend, still have homework on top of that, therefore I’ll fall asleep in math on Monday. I’m not a very nice person when I lack sleep unfortunately. Notice the time in this blog!

I’m slowly beginning to deteriorate without internet! Ugh. Having to come to the library is so not my thing, lol. I’m hoping by next week my uncle is going to get internet, hopefully!!

Anyways, my first day at art school was okay, just typical. All I had was math, so it was nothing too exciting about it. My math teacher is from West Africa and no one could understand what he was saying because of his accent. He said sometimes we may have to raise our hand for him to slow down, especially when he gets excited, lol. Which he did. Someone asked the first question and he got all excited but it turns out he misunderstood the question. Then, through the rest of class everyone was quiet, so he started picking people to come up and do problems on the board. He never picked me though, but I’m sure my time will come because he said we’re doing it the next class period. I have to Tuesdays and Fridays off, tomorrow I think I have 2D Design Fundamentals, but I don’t have my schedule right now, so I’m not sure.

In my last blog, about the 1,000, well 86 year old man that gave me his number at the library last time, (yeesh! ) I didn’t get to finish this in my last blog, but I threw it away on my way out, lol. It was gross, because he basically asked me how could he fix his “computer virus” so I explained how he could reboot his computer (just trying to help!), so he’s like well if you fix my computer virus, I’ll take you out to dinner or I’ll pay you (or something like that), I’m thinking, whatever, I think you want more from me than just to fix your little “computer virus”, gosh perv. But yeah, I walked out after that.

So, I’ve finally managed to have time to blog! But I’m at a library right now, so that’s all I really have time to do. I’m registered at art school and I start Monday, but I’m not living there, I’m living with my uncle for now, choice by my parents, but I will still get to live at art school when new years comes, so I’m only living with him for 3 months.

He doesn’t have internet so I have to go to the library or try to blog from school until he gets it. I have no idea how soon that will be so I won’t be able to return comments that much and I can’t update at all, sucks, but just know i’m trying! I’m not going to abandon my site.

Anyways, a couple of my classes this quater are Interactive Media Fundamentals and 2D Design Fundamentals. They gave me this really big art kit with a bunch of art stuff, it’s really heavy and we have to carry it around the first week until we’ll know what specifically to bring to each class. I also joined the drama club and the photography club, I’m already meeting some potential great friends who I have a lot in common with, so it’s pretty cool!

I wanted to post pictures but my camera software and USB cord was left at home, including my ipod USB cord. I also have no programs or anything I feel completely helpless, ugh. I won’t be as active online until around late November, I get to go home for Thanksgiving and get my computer and I’ll also be living at art school and have my own space!! With a roommate of course though.

I just wanted to inform everyone on what’s going on! I will try to get on as much as I possibly can! I sware, thirty minutes on the library’s computer is just not enough, but it’ll do for now.

Wow this has been a pretty sad day. Tomorrow I’m moving headed to Art school! Exciting, but everyone seems to have put all their sad emotions on me at once, which is completely overwhelming. My boyfriend was sobbing, I was so shocked! I have never seen him cry before. I was crying at first but when HE started crying I stopped almost immediately. I never thought I would see the day, but it made me even more sad. It seems like he’s sinking into almost a depression, which I hope not! We took pictures today, one of them is to the left.

Anyways, everyone’s so sad that I’m moving, I had no idea so many people even cared like that, honestly.

Well, I start school Monday, so I will join the “SCHOOL’S-TAKING-OVER-MY-LIFE-SO-I-HAVE-NO-TIME-FOR-MY-SITE” club soon, lol. No, I really hope not, I plan to make time for my site.

Wow, so um, I had a pretty good weekend/bday. I didn’t have the surprise party since it was supposed to be last weekend anyway, but Saturday, my boyfriend took me out to see Eagle Eye. [[QUICK REVIEW: I give it 6/10. It was not as good as I thought it would be. Don’t get me wrong, the plot is excellent, but to me it just wasn’t that exciting and it was boring at some points, so you have to really be in the mood to pay attention. I’m not sure I would recommend seeing it in theaters, it’s more like a movie you would wait to come out on DVD. It wasn’t bad, not bad at all, just not as action packed as the previews made it seem like. END REVIEW]] Okay, so after that we ended up not going to Red Lobster, instead we just got take out at Waffle House since it was so late and my mom’s texting me “WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO BE HOME, IT’S ONE IN THE MORNING?!”" I’m like, Mom c’mon, it’s my birthday, just let me have fun!! (lol)

So then Sunday (my actual birthday), I went to my great grandparents house, joined by my cousins and great aunts and we celebrated. They cooked an awesome birthday dinner for me. It consisted of ribs, chicken, corn off the cob, red beans and rice, and so much more! My great grandmother and great aunt provided entertainment on the piano, we were singing along to songs and stuff (lol), but our family is very musical so we do things like that in get togethers anyway. But anyways, it was just all fun being with family!

It was a great weekend!! And today my boyfriend and I are taking pictures, haha.

I didn’t realize it until today that my birthday is Sunday! Not that I don’t know when my birthday is, but it’s crazy how fast time has gone by. (lol) Well, I found out my boyfriend’s family is throwing me a surprise party (he obviously couldn’t keep it from me of course lol), which was actually supposed to be last weekend, but I was on a trip, fooey! (wow, did I just say that?) I’m guessing it’s tomorrow, but I’m not sure.

Anyways, tomorrow my boyfriend and I are going to Red Lobster and to see Eagle Eye (with Shia Labeouf) and then Sunday I’m going to have my birthday with family (by choice) at my great-grandparent’s house. Since I’m moving 6 hours away, I wanted to see them at least once more. They’re getting quite old so, need I say more?

I won’t blog again until my birthday weekend is over. I hope something crazy doesn’t happen like last weekend. I won’t go into that, but I sware my life can be so random at times, but I’m sure whatever happens, it will be very interesting. Anyways, I’m off to order pizza, anyone want to join me?

I’ve put up a new layout today! (refresh a couple of times) This is a bit different than my usual layouts, sort of out of my comfort zone kind of layout, but I wanted to try something new. I’ve been wanting to go in a new direction with my site because honestly I’ve been getting kind of bored with the internet, including my sites. I’m not losing interest at all, I still love it, but I’m just getting bored with it all. Usually when this happens, I buy a new domain and just start completely over and…I have thought about it, actually. I thought of a new domain name that I love, but there is no way I’d want to re-do an entire personal/resource/tutorial site, that’s a lot of work.

Plus, I’m trying to keep this site for at least a year. I’ve only had one site in my entire web design life to ever last that long and that was a fansite I had. I actually plan to keep sugar-candy for a very long time. I just somehow want to take it in a new “unique” direction and be different.

For me, my personal site isn’t just a “fad” or just to seek (online) popularity, I truly enjoy blogging, meeting people through my site, and adding content when I can, but I mostly enjoy blogging. I’ve thought about taking my site in the direction of just blogging, hosting, articles, and advice, all the things I enjoy most, but I do like having at least some tutorials and free content to offer. I just don’t know right now, rather I just want to keep it like it is or re-do it all and focus only what I enjoy most. I know people actually use my stuff, which makes it harder for me to decide.

Any advice or suggestions would help!

Sometimes I watch the show on VH1 called The Fabulous Life of, you know the show where they sometimes present the people and celebs with millions of dollars that blow it all on 20 cars, 80 vacation homes, and $100,000 jewelry? I think it’s cool and all that they have so much money, I mean I will to one day, but is it really necessary to have sooo many cars and houses? I mean, I guess I could understand jewelry. (haha)

I was thinking if I had a million dollars (right now), I’d probably keep it simple and then invest the rest wisely so I will be set for life. I wouldn’t blow all of my money on cars and houses. I think if I had a mil, I’d get my own huge customized house built with a guest house, I have no idea where I would live though. Let’s see a 2008 Lexus truck, a motorcycle, my own private jet, go on a huge shopping spree (with a few friends of course), then I’d just travel the world in my private jet—that is just some things though, but for the most part what I’d spend it on. That just includes me though, of course I would contribute to the need, help family members, etc. But I just don’t understand buying so many cars and houses, you never know when you could lose your job, you could get inured, become ill, or anything.

I mean look at what happened to Gary Coleman, it wasn’t his fault though, his parents spent all his money, which is sad, I feel sorry for him. Well anyways, I guess that’s just me though, I live a simple life, I like to keep it simple, yet I’m a complex person.

So, I just suddenly disappeared! (lol) Well, I decided at the last minute to go on a trip with 3 of my cousins. We went to visit my uncle 6 hours away. It was so much fun! We stayed out all day and came back to his house like after midnight. I barely got any sleep the whole trip there because we were always doing stuff. I won’t go into a lot of details, it’s too much! haha but I will just talk about movies that I’ve been wanting to see and got to see this weekend.

We saw Lakeview Terrace (with Samuel L. Jackson) Ah, it wasn’t as good as I expected it to be, like it wasn’t enough suspense, you could expect the expected and the expected happened which isn’t supposed to happen (lol), and plus I just hated how it ended! We also saw The Family that Preys, I loved it, but the ending was so sad!

Let’s see, I met my new cousins they’re puerto rican, which is cool, I picked up some espanol from them, haha. There’s Danara (15), Ariana (12), and Josiah (10 or 11 maybe?) and their mom Jazzy, my uncle’s fiance. I’ll be seeing them a lot because I’m moving there for school, 1 more week!

Anyways, I got back home tonight so I’m going to on a sleeping hibernation. This whole weekend (including Friday) I’ve probably gotten a total of 6 or 7 hours of sleep. I’m a a zombie right now, plus I’m hungry. Plus I have to unpack, then start packing again to move. So much to do! By the way, the title is from a song I just recently discovered I actually like (Whatever You Like—T.I.) lol

So, I’m back from my site-wise break. It was supposed to be a week, but I guess a few days was all I needed.

I got my official acceptance letter from the art school I’m going to!! I’m like officially enrolled and I’m moving officially on the first of next month, yay!! They sent me the schedule for when I get there (not my class schedule), I’m so excited!! So the schedule is:

October 2: Clearance Day (register, pictures, get books)
October 3: New Student Orientation (student and academic sessions, luncheon, housing orientation)
October 6: School starts!

I can’t wait to get my actual schedule for my classes. I’m so sad though! I’m going to miss my family and my boyfriend especially. I won’t be too far away but I won’t be as close which sucks, but my mom said she might come pick me up once a month to come home, so that will be cool! But i love the city I’m moving to so I can’t wait!

I also met a potential room mate which I’m glad because we’ve been talking for a couple of weeks. She asked me to be her room mate because she hates her current room mate because she doesn’t like cleaning up, she’s messy, and she’s a spoiled brat LOL! So, I’ll most likely be taking that girl’s place.

There was smoke everywhere and not to mention an awful smell, I thought I was going to die, seriously lol. Burnt french toast sticks (microwaved) has to be one of the worst smells ever. Now when you open our microwave that’s all you can smell, we have to get a new one. The strange thing is I CAN COOK and very well to, but the stupid box didn’t specify a time, ugh! Frozen foods can be evil and I feel like they’re out to get me, help!

Well onto today. Nico and I cooked lasagna together and hung out pretty much the whole day. He wanted to melt extra cheese on top of his lasagna but he was afraid of our microwave making it taste like burnt french toast sticks (lol). It doesn’t by the way! ha

Edit Monday the 15^th: (eating powdered donuts and watching t.v.) I don’t post many pictures of myself, but I got bored today and wanted to pretend like I was a Cover Girl and post them, ha ha. My friend actually gave me the idea to do it, so then I did it. It doesn’t look like a real magazine, but I tried.

Edit 2: Hello all! I’m taking exactly a 1 week break from the internet period, just need a break. I won’t be answering e-mails, submissions or anything, so I’m just informing you all.

I’ve put up a new layout! I was actually browsing through my computer files at old layouts from my previous site and saw some I didn’t use and this was one of them, so I decided to just edit it and use it, lol.

I have no idea what I’m doing this weekend, but I plan to read some books I mentioned in one of my previous blogs, I finally got them, but I’m missing the fifth book out of the series. But at least I have them in order, I hate skipping around, it ruins it, ha.

They’re called Staying Pure, Sober Faith, Saved Race, Sweetest Gift, and Surrendered Heart. You can read about them here, if you’re interested. They’re very short and sweet and they all have a great meaning to them.

And about my last blog…he is around my age in his teens as well, lol. I know a lot of people were shocked by that, and so was I!

I’m so itchy right now, I got bit badly by bugs the other day while standing outside, it sucks.

Okay, anyways…so lately I’ve been texting and talking alot to an old friend, who’s a guy, who was my friend from my old school before I moved. He basically told me he was in love with me (and still is) and so badly wanted to be with me and dreamed of marrying me, and he hated when I moved. I always knew there was a possibility, but I was never sure because we were just really good friends and took drama/theater together.

So now he’s finally told me, but it’s obviously too late now. I’m with someone I really love being with and I’ve just gone my own way in life, that’s kind of what happens when you move away, but ti’s really sad at the same time. I had no idea what to say when he told me that because for one I don’t feel the same way at all and I didn’t want to say the wrong thing.

Luckily, him telling me that didn’t change or ruin our friendship, which I didn’t want that at all, but this has to be one of the most awkward things that’s happened to me, lol. Not to mention today I found out he’s had 3 kids. Now that…was a shocker, really! But that’s another story…

By the way, I may go on some sort of revamp soon, I want to do some things with my site, change it around I guess, but I’m not sure yet.
